Vladimir Demine has been the Principal of Arts and Science Academy of Canada since its establishment in 2004. Vladimir has a background in law and worked as a lawyer and a judge of justice. Vladimir was appointed a director of the Ontario College of Pharmacists by the Lieutenant Governor, and was a member of a public advisory committee for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services.
Jemille Chu Morrison
Our school's vice-principal, Dr. Chu Morrison, Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning, has been a certified Ontario teacher for more than 20 years. She also taught in China and Mexico. For 15 years, she was a curriculum coordinator in Tanzania implementing her doctoral educational research from the University of Toronto on the potential of a global reading program to empower children. In 2016 she was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award for her commitment to Global Education.
VICTORIA MIRONOVA, M. Ed. is an accomplished Russian ballerina, ballet instructor, and choreographer, now residing in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Victoria Ballet Company and Arts and Science Academy of Canada's Dance Division (Victoria International Ballet Academy), the only private school in York Region that offers both a K-12 Ontario certified curriculum, and a daily professional ballet program. The groundwork for this unique institution was laid by a young and talented Ms. Mironova, back in 1977. Arts and Science Academy of Canada is located in Vaughan, Ontario. Our academic classrooms create a thriving environment for children to learn. The spacious and bright dance studios, art, and music classrooms allow students to spread their wings and learn comfortably.
